Midas Electric Launches the MDS9 Series Automatic Power Transfer System (APTS)
The MDS9 Series Automatic Power Transfer System (APTS) by Midas Electric is specifically engineered for multi-source power supply systems, offering seamless transfer control and power protection. It supports CB-level transfer with integrated short-circuit and overload protection. In the low-voltage transfer sector, its actuator provides a reliable solution. The GridPro series switches integrate real-time temperature monitoring of critical components in the main circuit, contact wear analysis, and comprehensive switch status monitoring. These insights can be transmitted to the ME-iPOWER system, enabling multidimensional monitoring of the entire transfer system.
The APTS features multiple redundancies and interlock mechanisms to ensure safe operation, including system logic interlocks, electrical interlocks, and both flexible and rigid mechanical interlocks in the actuator. The APTS also supports various power input schemes based on user needs, including traditional dual power input, “dual input with bus tie,” and three-source configurations.
