Midas Electric MDS9 Series Empowers Corning’s Gen 10.5 Glass Substrate Production Line in Hefei

On December 2, 2015, in Hefei’s Xinzhan District, Corning’s Gen 10.5 LCD glass substrate project, with a total investment of USD 1.5 billion, commenced construction simultaneously with BOE’s Gen 10.5 LCD production line project.

Thanks to its solid reputation and proven solutions, Midas Electric earned recognition from both the project owner and the general contractor, and was selected to provide medium-voltage automatic transfer switches. All production was strictly scheduled according to the delivery timeline, ensuring on-time delivery.

As an equipment supplier for this project, Midas Electric provided products including the MDS9 Series Automatic Transfer Switches. We uphold the highest standards in product development, design optimization, materials, manufacturing processes, quality, and customer service. Our engineers are continuously committed to product upgrades and new product development.

The MDS9 Series is designed to meet diverse customer requirements and offers flexible solutions for various application scenarios. These switches are ideal for use in mission-critical power distribution systems. The MDS9 can be installed in power distribution panels or in user-specified NEMA-type enclosures. The switch body includes contacts, drive terminals, and wiring terminals mounted inside the panel. The logic unit — consisting of a microprocessor-based controller and indicator panel — is installed on the panel door, allowing safe isolation during maintenance. The logic unit and switch body are connected via pre-numbered harnesses with isolated plug connectors for easy disconnection and servicing of the control panel.
